Just received the Hogue EX01 Black Gmas G-10 Drop point and all I can say is wow. The blade came mirror polished first off. I have never gotten a knife this sharp right out of the box. The stone washing is also first class. Fit and finish seems to be better than most Benchmades and some Spydercos. Not knocking either brand, as I own many of each. Holding it in hand it seems to be a little blade heavy which I find is fine for the size of this knife. The action is very smooth, comparing it to my Para2 it's a little smoother. Finally, this is my first button lock and certainly won't be my last. If you can't decide on this one just go ahead and pull the trigger. It's well worth the money.

Bought one, handled it for 20 minutes and sold it the next day. In my case, the knife was not well balanced, blade heavy, ergos weren't right for my hand either. I couldn't warm up to the blind nuts in the G10 either, I'd rather have steel liners and have the clip screw tapped into that. I didn't really care for the button lock either.

Its an awesome knife I have the 4 inch g mascus version, it has some of the best fit and finish out of any production knife I have owned, blade finish is beautiful, button lock is really tough, Allen elishewitz has some videos on youtube doing some tests with this knife if you look it up.

I have the medium black gmascus drop point, and I love it. That being said, RevDevil is right it is blade heavy and I wish I got the large(handle is a bit bigger and feels better). I still love this knife and fit n finish are amazing. Came sharp as anything I've seen and is smooth as hell. I also really wanted the green but that was sold out, I'll end up getting the large in green some day. It is deffinately not for everyone but I think you will like it :)
