I have a hogue folding knife ex01 tanto model and I was oiling up the parts and now every time I press the round button to unlock the knife from the open position the button makes a very annoying noise because of the oil inside of there makes it squeak a bit. It kind of sounds like a singe.
I've pressed it quite a bit since and wiped off everything that came out each time, it also seeps out a little from the locking slide button. But it still makes the noise.
Any fixes that don't require me to take the knife apart? Will it eventually go away?
