Hogue Fixed Blade Question

I have recently been considering a hogue ex-f01 fixed blade but Im a bit concerned that the handle will be too small. I think the specs say the handle is 5 inches which should be lots but that must include the skull crusher and other unusable space. Some of the in hand videos on youtube make the users fingers look pretty squished and my hands are larger than most. Does anyone with large hands own one and can they comment on how the handle fits?

Also wondering if the sheath is any good? Specifically that the insert doesnt dull the blade. Ive had that happen on a few knives and its a real bummer. A knife you like with a serious fatal flaw is almost worse than getting a knife you totally hate.

Hah, i know that feeling far too well
I do not have a fixed hogue, but i do have a ex-01 or whatever, their first folder, green alu handle which looks atrocious due to my necessary modifications (that thing is unfathomably pointy and sharp and uncomfortable to hold)
