I bought the new Hogue Mysto Fire which is less expensive version of previous Mystos. I paid about $175. This version includes the same magnecut blade with red richlite scales. The dimensions are the same as previous versions with a 3.4 inch blade and around 7 1/2 inches overall. The action and the detent on the knife are still excellent. No blade play up down left or right. The color accent comes from a bronze finish on the thumb studs and barrel spacers which contrast nicely to the red and black of the blade and scales. The only disappointment was the factory edge, which wasn’t up to Hogue standards. It was OK but snagged once or twice on the paper cutting test. I sharpened it on the Horl and it was as good as ever

I got the Water version and it had a lot of side to side blade play. When I went to adjust the pivot I sheared two WIHA torx bits it had so much loctite on it. I sent it to Hogue. Still have yet to get it back. Other than that I liked the feel of the knife a lot. I have the full Ti version as well. No issues with it.
