Does anybody know if the full size Ritter Hogue works with regular full size Benchmade Griptillian omega springs or are they a slightly different shape or something? I broke one like 5 months ago and Hogue sent me a new set but I broke another one today and would probably just prefer to pick up a ten pack of the regular full size griptillian springs on amazon or something if their a direct match.

Benchmade doesn't send out omega springs. You’ll have to send the knife in or make your own out of guitar strings. Don’t know about Hogue.

I just meant you can buy some that are aftermarket on etsy and Amazon that are for the full size Griptillian and I didn't know if the Griptillian omega springs were the exact same size as the Hogue ritter springs or if they were a different shape or size or something.

The Hogue springs are supposed to be stronger than the ones Benchmade uses.

So how in the heck did you break 2 sets??

I'm not sure. It was the same side in the exact same place too. The only thing I noticed is that both times I had been checking the blade for side to side play with the blade open and locked and been adjusting the pivot so it must not take the side to side force very well with the blade open and locked.

I'm not sure. I think it's fine usually but both times it broke I was checking the side to side play with it open all the way and noticing it had some wiggle but no play with the blade open half way so i think the flex must've stressed the spring itself.
