I’d like to buy one but I am undecided. I have fairly large hands and if anyone has one please let me know how they feel in hand. 4 inch closed length, larger one is 4 5/8 closed Thanks

I wear XL gloves and have no problems with it. I get a full four finger grip (*no sausage fingers here, so ymmv). I probably carry out more often than the full size.

I also wear an XL glove in Mechanix. For a nice full grip I'd say go for the full size, but you would probably have enough space on the mini to get all 4 fingers on. My wife has a mini Griptillian (3.87 closed) and my pinky is kinda hanging off the end.

For context, because they are what I have with me, the TRM is also 4" closed, and the Shaman is 4.67" closed. Spacious full grip on the Shaman, but I use up every bit of handle on the Neutron..

the handle is a small amount longer than the mini grip, but i wouldn't say it's generous. my medium hands could get a full grip on it but i used the whole handle up. I'd say the large would be a better fit for you

So I don't have the Hogue Mini Ritter but I do have a BM Mini Grip. Here are some size comparisons for you. I wouldn't say I have big hands by any means. I wear a size large glove for comfort when I wear them. I have it next to the full size Ritter and Para 3. If I had to choose I would still go with the full size personally as it just feels better to me.

Unless you have legit bear-paws, it should fit just fine in the hand for casual/edc use. I wear a sixe xl glove and have no issues getting a solid, comfortable grip. Obviously, the full-size is going to be better suited for extended or heavy use for larger hands, but the more compact size of the mini is worth the trade-off for general daily carry, imo. Both are great knives.. can't go wrong with either!
