The handle actually provides a surprisingly secure grip .i need a guard for my fingers.
Can't find my family picture of all 3 sizes, but this is still a good one. The Holdout is more practical and I really like them, but those damn Ti-Lites have a hold over me, especially the Ti & Al Models. I really wish they would have made the 6" Ti Model, both gray and anodized blue too.

I have a 150 or so knives with many that offer limited(at best utility). I always carry 2-3 knives depending on what I require for the day so a "I just feel like carrying something fun" knife(Like A Tai Pam, MT XII, Tiger Claw etc)is not a problem. I grew up with switchblades, I think that is why I like the Ti's so much, just wicked things. Don't get me started on guns lol.I like the TiLite as well, but not as much. I think the TiLite is better looking, and potentially easier to deploy, but on both of mine the action and lock leave something to be desired. Perhaps worse, they don't really serve any utilitarian uses very well.
The action and lock on my non-GSM Hold Out are very good. The blade is wide and slicey, and strong enough to offer some utilitarian use if you are careful. It is lite and flat and easy to carry. It is not, however, anywhere near as cool or good looking as the classic TiLite. To be honest, in my opinion the Hold Outs are kinda lame looking, yet I still carry it often enough.
