KC has the new holdout 6 in for $219. It does have S35 Steel. And I really like the holdout series. I had a holdout 6-in but it got destroyed. Is this too much money for the knife? I bought mine years ago for a lot less but it was in aus8. Not that it really matters much to me. So what do you think is it overpriced or is it about right or somewhere in the middle? I said I wouldn't buy any more Cold Steel Knives and I'm lying to myself again. I can't help it. Thanks

Considering that the ultimate Hunter,ad 10 and srl can be found for $100 more or less all in s35vn, that hold out seems steep to me. Probably can be found at around $150.

That's what I was thinking thanks fellas, but I do have another question, does the S35 serrations last longer than the AUS 8 serrations? The holdout is available in serrated blade.

you should be able to easily find this online in the $150 range from other dealers, a big name website that delivers all kinds of stuff to your door step currently has it for 132 shipped

I'm definitely tempted. But every time I go to order one for some odd reason I change my mind. I think it's called Cold Steel syndrome. Your damned if you do and your damned if you don't.

Look at the big river in South America website.

Whenever considering a Cold Steel check the carnival USA site for sales. When they put stuff on sale they seriously discount it, and I have bought a stupid number of toys there with no issues.

Full disclosure, I have never had any issues at any of the sites I shop, and that's a lot of them.

I just paid a whole lot less on the big river site.
Check several online dealers, there are way better prices out there.
