I bought a few production folders a couple of years ago. For example, I bought a Benchmade 910s, Benchmade DarkStar ( 880 with black coating ), Benchmade Leapard, Benchmade Mel Pardue ( ivory micarta & anodized titanium bolsters ), Spyderco C55 ( starmate ), Spyderco Tim Wegner Clipit, Spyderco C16 ( Wayne Goddard ( micarta )). I got them over the internet at about a 20%-30% discount (from retail). Recently, while leisurely surfing the internet, I noticed that most of the same knives are still being made, and the prices are not going down. In fact, some of the "discount" sites have raised their prices. Basically, I am cheap and waiting for some of these Benchmades and Spydercos to get discontinued.. I guess the bottom line is that I am glad they are still available, but if I see them discontinued, I will be forced to buy more!.. love getting a good deal.! take care, Rob19

Glad you like your knives so much. Believe me, when the models you mention that are still being sold lose their popularity, they will be discontinued. That doesn't necessarily mean that you will see them being discounted, but I am sure that you will be able to find some deals.
