Hi!
I friend of mine made something pretty unique. It is an regular Sebenza (S30). I used to own it once. He pimped it with hole opener, some file work, glass breaker etc. Thought that you wanted to see the result.

:) I will tell him. Sure he did a great job, but I cannot say I like the look very much. Maybe a 21 had been better to start with?

I like the way it looks. Almost looks like the opening of some of the mayo knives. Did a great job!

While the mod turned out nice, I question using the much desired regular.

Massive accomplishment, cutting a hole in hardened steel.
I certainly prefer a hole to a thumbstud, but did it destroy the temper?

Although his work looks very nice, it's a bit like welding a metal roof onto a 1957 vintage Corvette. Yes, it will keep out the rain.

I guess the only way to truly find out is to send it to me and I will use it for awhile. :)

Your friend did nice work, I like it:thumbup:However, you really should have used a 21 instead...

Looks like a Mayo to me. I'd like to see it in the closed position and the glassbreaker if you can OP

I think the opening hole looks nice. Not a big fan of the glassbreaker's looks there, but It is well executed. Very professional looking modification, I would hate to see what my own efforts would have ended up looking like! Ha!

He did a great job. Very nicely done, but I agree with others, seems like a waste of a Regular...

Yes it feels like a waste to use one of the regulars. I asked him about the heat treatment and he promised that he had been very careful.

Excellent workmanship! but not sure I like the look - seems to be too large and all the angles don't mesh. AND why on a Regular?

What is that "button"? It looks interesting and would be nice to see that larger. It can't be a post going all the way through, or it would interfere with the blade in the closed position.

I like it in an 'odd' sort of way. It's his the rest of his life with mods like that. Would you buy it.........................
