holes in a handle

I've just removed the clip from my mini-task. It looked to big for such a small knife... well, anyway, I attached the cord and like it more with a knot 'a la sebenza';) The thing that looks weird to me is that now I have 3 holes in the handle - somehow I thought that I'd be able to put the screws back into the holes. So what you guys think about this? should I just get used to this? it's my EDC and I don't want the holes get filled with dirt in case I'll want to put the clip back.

A good idea might be to fill in the holes with something that is easily removed, such as silicone or rubber cement.
I hope this helps.

Just tell anyone that notices that it's made of Mayo....

Sorry...made BY Mayo...just a slip..:)

Don't worry, if you clean it well, the dirt will be gone and you can re-assemble it with no problem.

The holes, on the other hand, may take years to get used to.

Your mileage mayo vary....
