Holes in your shirt?

I keep finding little holes in the front of my shirts where I've apparently used the shirt tail to wipe off the blades of my knives.

I try to be careful, but I guess I'm not careful enough. I just found some holes in one of my favorite camp shirts.

Anyone else find this to be the case?

I do not wipe my blades off on my shirt any more because of this. Since I wear jeans almost all the time, I simply rub the blade on my jeans, obviously with the sharpened edge trailing.

I end up with holes on the lower right side of my shirts. These appear when my shirt gets pinched between the knife clip on the outside of my pocket and whatever I just leaned/rubbed/bumped against.

I laughed when I read this:)
My wife kept asking me where the small holes in my shirt were coming from, but I did not know either. One day, I cleaned my blade and noticed the hole immediately. I don't use my shirt now, I put it in my pocket dirty and use a rag later to clean it

I've never found any holes. The only holes in my clothing coming from knives are one pair of shorts.

If you'd tuck your shirt in, instead of dressing sloppy, you'd not have this problem. ;-)

I should have said, knife carrying moths. :)
I have some T shirts with these small holes, and they are from wiping off the blades of various knives.

I only wipe my knives off with a cotton cloth at the end of a work day or a bit of hand soap and a paper towel. Never a shirt for that reason.

I have a few holes like those. What about how your pocket gets shredded after a while from the scales of your knife lol.

Holes in almost all my T-shirts and torn pocket edges on the right pocket of almost all my jeans.
