Here's my latest Sebenza. Yes, some holes were put in for no good reason except for the fact that I wanted it that way. Also the Ti scales were given a satin finish.

Awesome, when I see these customized plain Sebenzas it makes me wish sometimes I had one instead of micarta :p

Nice work! What type of drill bit did you use? How did you get the satin finish? I want to drill my seb too.

I didn't drill it. I had a friend of mine who is a machinest do it for me. For the finish, I started with a belt sander with a fine grit initially. Then I used Scotchbrite to give the brushed finish Lastly, I used polish and a dremel to buff it.

I love the finish a ScotchBrite pad gives if you do it nice and evenly. I do it to some of my Spyderco and BM clips. Yours is a great example :)

When I see that image, I picture a coin press fitted in from the inside of the
scale, have your friend mill out a hole only slightly smaller than the coin
and about half way through so the outer hole acts as a frame, some foreign
coins are quite small and pretty intricate in design, being pressed in flush
will keep the blade away and still have the holes on the outside, but, that's
just what my crazy minds eye pictured when I saw the three holes there.

Most times when I've seen this type of mod done, I just dont like it...But, in this case...It really looks nice:D The holes are just the right size and located & spaced just right.

I'm not even sure I'd try to improve on it, but if I tried anything at all it would be to match the chamfer as on the other holes already present.

Death’s Head,

Like Kdarmy says, the holes are just right.

Nice job all the way around. The holes, the blue thumbstud with red lanyard and the satin finish work very well together.

Good photos as well.

That's NICE!!
I like this better than the graphic Sebenzas.
I feel that it's simplicity somehow fits better with the overall knife design.

Yes, that's a choice CRK should have on their sebbies. I had one I drilled before but had to sell. Next one I get, will have holes to my liking and a gold coin fitted, like Gary suggested.

I have seen bad modifications on Sebenzas, ouch.
But this one looks esthetically correct in every way, the finish you did to the Ti looks pretty cool.
If it were the first time i see a Sebenza i yould never expect its modified.
Good work

Regards
