Holiday gift knife en masse

Hey all. Happy turkey day in advance!

The company I work for does a holiday gift to the employees every few years, and this is the year it has landed on. Now for the last few rounds of gifts i've been on the receiving end, and this year i'm in the position to be on the gifting end. Over the years it has been jackets with a company logo / vests / etc.

I want to take this year's gift in a different direction: I want to get the crews a good (decent) folding knife. I have a very diverse group of guys that I work with, young and older. So there are many different blades that would apply. I'm simply looking for some suggestions.

Here are some guidelines I'd like to have the blade fall into:

Price: Max $75 (I have to buy 20-25)
Blade Length: Max 3"
Locking blade, simple is better.
No assisted openers.
Looks aren't necessarily a main concern, but I would like to stay away from overly "tactical" blades.

Thanks folks,

Let me know what you think.

Chuck

Well I guess the question is, who are you buying for? Field guys or office jockeys? If field, what kind of work?

Nice thought BTW, I remember working for a small company that acted like it cared about its employees :/ I want to try it again someday...

Get them all a skyline or even a skyline blem from kershawguy to save money since ur buying so many

Tenacious, delica, benchmade mini grip, keshaw injection 3.0, skyline, those are a few that I can think of

I'm gonna agree with Dragonfly, Delica, or Minigrip. The Dragonfly and Delica might be easier for them since its a backlock and people are more familiar with that than the axis or liner style locks. The CS Mini Recon 1 is nice too. I have a minigrip in D2 and a Dragonfly in ZDP-189 and I love both.

Brown scaled Spyderco Natives are on sale for $79. That would be a knife that works. (Hint hint)

But I don't know how many they have. It's a limited run.

Consider an Alox Victorinox SAK [pioneer, farmer, or electrician]. Alox SAKs are incredible durable, well-recognized, people friendly, and incredibly functional. They usually even appeal to non-knife people. I use my Alox SAKs far more often than folders.

Maybe a Spyderco Persistence? Small enough to be sheeple friendly, yet enough blade to be functional. Heck, you could probably get one for each hand and still be under budget :D

I think you may found victor inbox SAK or opinels with the option of having the name of the company on it
