I've been going Mnandi crazy the last few weeks. I posted pix of my Zebra/ebony one I got and really like it. But another has come my way of an early Christmas gift from me beautiful wife. This one being a box elder wood and stainless Damascus raindrop. I can't recall seeing swirl patterns in elder wood as nice as this in a long time. It's kind of cool too how the Damascus is all being clear coated to give that extra etching protection.

Now, if I'll just be able to contain myself from using it during the Thanksgiving dinner at my mothers house, I may be OK...but I doubt it. Of course(and I'm sure there's those of you who agree), a Chris Reeve folding knife of some sort makes it's appearance on X-mas/Hanukkah morning(s). It's tough to get some of those boxes open. Someone always seems to ask for a knife or sissors.

You guys post pix of your holiday CRK's. This will be mine this year...

That style of Damascus along with that perfect specimen of Elder looks outstanding, one of the best Mnandi's I've ever seen.

Now what will you get your lovely WIFE ??

Perhaps the the most attactive box elder I've ever seen -- and the blade and wood patterns are so complimentary. Very nice! Congrats on a beautiful knife.

Fortunatly my wife is an avid outdoorsman(woman) too, and appreciates a fine folder. She has two unique Sebenza's and an aviator herself, so she's no newborn to Chris Reeve products. I was cruzing around a couple websites and came across this one. She actually saw this Mnandi and asked if this would be one I wanted. Heck yeah!:D I said. Actually mentioning to her that I had just picked up the last one from the same person. So some slight nagotiating and wa-la. She mentioned that it would be part of my X-mas presents; then I had to tell her about my small classic Sebenza that should be ready next month. She just smiled and said "You owe me". Yeah, I know...I'm thinking a new pair of skies with bindings and boots to go with em might be in order for my snow bunny. She deserves them. Be kind to the ones who are kind to you. She's worth it!
