How long is the handle on the pen knife? And how is it a different knife than your biltongs?

The handle is 4.5" - 5" long, depending on whether you include the whole bolster. You can see that by shrinking the second image to 12.5" on your screen and measuring the handle.

I'm not very familiar with the Bilton, but the Pen Knife is very robust, with a thick, wide blade. A very versatile blade. From the pictures I've seen of the Bilton, I think it's more lightweight, and of course the shape is quite different.

The Pen Knife is for lack of a better term much more skookum than the biltong. Generally they are much more blade than handle, guessing maybe 5''. I love my Pen Knife and we haven't seen any for quite some time around here. The handle works fine for me but I wouldn't want it any shorter.
Makes a great little camp knife.

Biltons have a much narrower belly. Pens have a very wide belly. The bilton is also much smaller all together.

Now Ringsooth is going to have to learn some Chinook, to figure out what you just said. 😁
