Anybody have anything special planned for the holidays? We have sort of an unusual week ahead of us. Connie gets off work today at 9 am, then we are going to church at 10:30 for service and the grandaughters Christmas program. She has an unusual work schedule this week. Tomorrow she starts at 4 am, Tuesday it`s 2 am, Wednesday back to 4 am, and Thursday it`s 11 pm! Thursday morning we are taking the grandkids shopping for their parents. Friday night we go to Connie`s youngest sisters house, then Christmas we just stay home, the kids and grandkids stop by sometime during the day. Then Sunday she goes in to work at 2 am again!

JK, ours will be pretty sedate this year. This will be the 2nd year the torch has been officially passed on to our children. Before we had everyone at our house because it was big enough to hold everybody confortably (45 to 55 people is a lot at one time). Now the oldest is a housewife who has "graciously" stepped up to now handle the holidays, the middle one is the family rock star our & about, and the youngest is on her 3rd term in Antartica this year playing with the penguins for the government. So we have down sized to a 3BR 2B condo & will let the children do the "work" . . . :)
Merry Christmas to you & your family from the JUST1MOR husehold, & I hope 2011 is a very productive year for you as well.
Be safe.

My Christmas plans are to stay home and enjoy the Christmas weekend. Whoever comes over comes over on Christmas Eve. My sister will likely come over on Christmas day.

I'm not sure where I'll be. Last year I spent Christmas in Effingham IL, the year before that it was North East MD. This year, who knows, it's always an adventure.

Nothing real special here. I'm off work for Mon-Weds. Work a midday shift Thursday instead of my usual 2nd shift. Friday I get to go in from "9 or 10 intil about 3-ish" (That's what the Boss Man said, close the place up and then off the rest of the Eve & Christmas Day. I don't really think much is happening for the family this year.... Only 2 kids out of all of us, 1's with his mother this year and the other one is a wee little one of 11 mo's IIRC. Maybe I'll go spend it with my best friend, his wife & their kids... it's hugely more fun with little ones around tearing open packages and wearing big smiles & even bigger eyes full of surprise.

Christmas Eve with of my Mom's side and then my Cousin's side both up in the Suburbs. Christmas morning back at home then back to the Suburbs for Dinner with my Stepmom's side. Week after celebrate birthday/Christmas probably with one of my Brother's and the week after with the other Brother.
