In the old days the 110 was offered in tin encased special runs each holiday season. I see a few special runs starting to show up. I am NOT deal spotting, but was wondering if my fellow collectors have seen any special runs out there this year? I hope to see a few of them!

Tom, This is a good subject if anyone knows about this. Like you suggested just don't name a store and price in one sentence....300

I don't recall ever seeing Holiday Tins, but I will look for them now. Do they include special edition knives? Holiday themed handles would be nice.

Dick's has a Boone and Crockett 110 tin ...Going to check it out tomorrow......I have got the past years of them

I've seen last years edition offered at a farm supply store. If you don't have any, these make very cool 1st class gifts. DM

Yes, these make great gifts. Let me send you my address just in case you feel so inclined. :D

I saw five different tins at a farm supply store. None were the 110. Each had two knives in the tin and all where made in China. In fact, the tins for all other knife manufacturers were too. I had a gift card to use and did on a 327 Nobleman and 318 Trapper combo in Burlwood. The wood looks really nice and they are really sharp. I'll post a picture when I can.

I picked up four of the Dicks ones yesterday...Model 110. I can't post pictures as I don't have the right account set up, but you can look it up easy....Nice tins and knives this year.....

Went to a different Dicks today and they had two left so I have six now...lol....Gifts and a few for me.....

I saw plenty of the overseas offerings at the farm store. I'm with David Martin. I'd like to wait and see if anything from Idaho hits the Xmas shelves.

If I didn't have a year old gift card i needed to use, I would have passed on it. Even for free, it was a tough call.

Cabelas has a 110 and a few other tins too now it seems......

I saw them in the catalog I just got yesterday. A 110 with "Cabelas" on the blade, which is actually kinda cool IMO, and a trapper set. The trappers are from China unfortunately, but it's still a nice tin set up. Not bad for what they're asking...

I saw the gift tins at Walmart today - lots of them. I went in to buy a Buck 110 to gift to a buddy - they only had ONE Buck 110 in stock (in a pasteboard box locked in a cabinet!) But I did get the one 110 they had. OH

I like their Pre-black Friday flyer. Nice to see a USA made tin for a change.
