Hollow Grinding Points

Howdy,
I'm A Newbie to Knife Making and I was wondering if anyone has some advice on hollow grinding knife points.:

I have found that if you drop the handle end down a little when you are working on the point it will help you shape it. How much to drop it is dependent on the shape of the blade. You will have to drop it more on a straight hunter than you would on a drop point hunter.

I have that one as well. Hollow Grinding with Johnny Stout. It is a good one. You can get that one at Texas Knifemaker Supplies. for about $35.00 if I remember. God bless
