After grinding the intitial 45 degree bevel {to the scribed grind lines} on the edge of a blade, do you then grind from the edge working what will be the top of the grind towards the spine of the knife, or do you start the grind in the middle of the blade and wrok both edges till they're where you want them?? Thanks!! Michael

Grind your initial edge then work your to the spine. I'm sure that you will get as many ways to do this as there are makers. You will find your "way". Stay with it! Love your "addition" at the bottom of the page. New makers help out the whole industry.
