I got one hollow ground with the convex edge (black paper handles)......man does it slice !

Did they skeletonize the handles on those hollow ground boss streets ?

No skeletonizing (is that a word, really?), and it still has a solid feel, but not the hefty feel of a regular BS.

That's my convex edge, btw, the factory edge, although very sharp, looked to be V-grind.

That is awesome! Hollow to convex. The only blades I have like that (that I actually use) would be my sebenzas. I agree, Hollow to convex is slightly Insane when done up right. The best part is all you need to do is keep it up with a leather belt and compounds. I have found it just keeps getting more insane and beautiful every time I 'sharpen'.
