Look at this auction on Ebay. Item#280109324207 or just type in "new hunting survival bowie fixed blade knife".

lol... niceeeeeee
i like the little screw thats keeping the blade attached to the handle

Why didn't TOPS or Red Scorpion Six think of such a life saving feature!! 1st chop and I bet they need stitches.

$9.99 for the knife & $35.00 shipping, what a bargin. $4.99 + $18.00 shipping for the "Emerson", wonder what he would think about his logo on the POS being sold on Fleabay...

well have a look at this

That looks so close to an ER shrapnel..even stamped made in italy. It almost says extrema ratio above that but it is just a bit unclear in the photo. Unbelievable.

Wow. That dude is just looking for trouble. I like the Cold Steel box in the picture with the fake Trailmaster. Nice.

And Jaiofspam, I'm just guessing here, but I think that may be a roll pin thatis holding the blade in the handle on that (cough!)Tracker. Aitor made some hollow handle knives with that sort of construction. That method of joining the handle and blade always gives me the creeps!

For those of you who haven't seen these super high shipping charges like this on Ebay before beware because it is getting to bevery common. I used to thinks it was a way of tricking the buyer into buying something cheep and making the real profit on the shipping and to be sure that does happen, so be sure to always check shipping prices. but if you read the whole auction and get the shipping price you can factor that into you bid. assuming you stil want to do business with someone who wants to cheat you.
The other reason that sellers do it is to screw Ebay out of their fees. Ebay Takes a percentage of the initial price you list your item for and a percentage of the final selling price. So if they list it low and sell low they save money on fees and anything they charge for shipping over the actual cost is profit.
So a seller who does it is trying to cheat the unwary buyer and Ebay. Ebay has caught on to this and is trying to crack down on sellers who do this although Im not sure how they intend to police it at this time.
My thought on the subject is that anyone who does is not someone I am going to trust and do business with. and is a big RED FLAG. Obviously there are other signs of this sellers honesty because of the products he chooses to sell and how he markets them.
GOOD LUCK and BUYER BEWARE

thsi all reminds me of the "authentic" "samurai swords" you can buy on ebay for $1 plus $100 shipping lol
