I made the mistake about 10-12 yrs ago of having him "make" me a couple of knives. 
What he sent had problems and I contacted him to ask about them; no accusations just mentioned that there were a couple of problems. He came back with a rant on how I wanted $300 knives for $65 ea. 
I e-mailed back that it spoke to his character that he never even asked what the problems were. End of story-stay FAR away.
