Not sure how much of this I can tell so I will be vague. A pretty well-known actor (and star of this particular film) will be carrying and using the RC-4 in some action scenes, as well as the knife being prominently displayed on his armor throughout the movie. Filming started on the movie last week. Movie is schedule to be released early 2011.

Also, from the movie's "armorer" : "was also able to place RC-6 with the number 3 actor, a RC-3 with the medic, a RC-3MIL with our M203 Gunner, and an Izula with the radio man. There isn’t any hero action planned with any of these actors with knives but they are prominently displayed on their vests."

I think this is some cool stuff.

Well, unless you're a knife guy no one will know it's an RC knife. But for us folks who follow knives, it will be cool.

I didn't even know they were making a Brokeback mountain 2, pretty cool!

:D Just kiddin', that's awsome!

I think that's pretty awesome, and congrats to RAT Cutlery. But I bet their knives aren't as pretty as ours... Only had mine out for one evening and they already have character.

my wife hates it when i talk about guns and knives that are in movies. but i guess i'll have another now.

Unless I am misunderstanding your question, I would say no since it seems like a regular old movie to me.

I meant a movie taking after a video game. Like Gears of War , Call of Duty or Halo. They are "suppose" to be making movies that most likey will be blockbusters like Transformers . or flops :D

Uwe Boll... :thumbdn:

Pretty cool that your knives are going to Hollywood, next thing you know we're going to see paparazzi shots of an Izula getting out of a limo. :D

It's all about $$ that's why they make them. Like X- Man ect.. if you like it or not $$ talks

Great publicity! If the right audience sees those knives and likes them, they should sell. There doesn't necessarily even have to be a clear shot of the logo or anything, once the name of the movie is known, googling "knife from ____" should lead them in the right direction. I suppose that there is always the chance that they don't get hardly any screen time or only those who really know what they're looking for notice them, but it's still cool
