he wand to be razor sharp.
so here we are i forge this bowie from a huge ball bearing 52100 steel.heat treated mr.fowler's way
the blade is 18cm.long, 31cm. overall
handle holm oak burl in natural color, brass guard and pin.
no seath yet.
I'm open to suggestions guy's, the seath must be firmly secured the knife, but also be quick in pulling out.

I am such a big fan of simple designs. This is the only bowie that I have ever liked!

I really like the look of her. My only comment would be if I were to really take it hog hunting I might want a slightly bigger guard.

Thanks alot master fowler your comments always give me a push to do my best and more in every new knife, thanx again mister fowler for your kind support,i dont find wards to tell you ho much apreciate that

Thanx for the comment Greg, but here in homeland we dont use knives for killing hogs, we use it mostly for throat and bely opening after the shot and for self defence from wounded hogs attack, also we used for choping branches from the woods to make cariages for them.
I hope help you to understud now that we dont realy need big guards.
Thanx again
Harry
