Here I used CF pattern and Clear Holstex to create a Level II retention sheath for an Entrek Merc.
I took the pictures at different angles to illustrate the weave pattern used which is very close to looking like the real thing.
Locks in rock solid but can be effectively carried with the lock disengaged to facilitate quicker deployment.

Thanks for posting.I just ordered a sheet of the CF Holstex and wondered what it looked like after molding.
Good looking stuff.

It is the most realistic looking CF that I have seen, be careful not to get it too hot in your oven or the pattern will permanently disappear.
Please post pic's when you are done I would like to see how your project turns out.
Good Luck.

What temp are you using with it?
I have just started making sheaths for myself and have seemed to pick up on it very well.I made my first one with .80 kydex heated to about 200 degrees.I have made a few more sense then and found that a temp of around 290 gives me a very good mold with the .80 kydex.

When you receive your sheet of Holstex it will come with an instruction sheet, if your sheet is .080 or .090 use the high end of the temp listed.
Again good luck, I would love to see the final result.

I like the way the clear looks on your style sheaths. The layers look really good!!
Not sure if I like the clear on just a plan folded style.
I'm going to order a sheet to play and just to check it out.
