Did anyone else notice the new lineup that Hanwei posted today on Facebook?

If you check for all new products on their site, there are a ton of new knives.

Maybe this is old news, but a quick forum search didn't turn up anything so I thought I'd post it.
 
Interesting. Thanks for that! Not sure the line is for me, especially at the pricepoint--even if factoring in what street prices would be. Still I hope the venture goes well for them.
 
Yeah, I thought it was fairly big news that Hanwei seems to be attempting to break into the mid to high end knife market.

I'm not interested in the new offerings either, just really surprised that their business model is changing so much without a lot of fanfare.
 
They have been trying to get into expensive knives since the first release of the Lake folders about 5 years ago. Their top of the line is pretty good, except for price, it's the middle range I sometimes find lacking.
