I mean, I knew it was yeller when I saw it on the TV show, but now that it's here... it's YELLA! It also had the worst edge (if you can call it an edge) that I have ever seen on a new knife, but it is a "price point" knife, so 20 minutes on the Smith's 10" diamond stones and Sharpmaker has the 1095 hair poppin'. But, dang, that's a bright knife...

Yeah, he's got personalty all right! I'll give the stag knives a break this weekend and see if I can bond with this "beauty"... Lol!

I really like that one, and it's great to see a good knife come out of a reputable maker at a price that's so accessible!!! I will be getting at least one, to give as a gift, and maybe one for myself as well.
Two big thumbs up!

Not that it really matters to me particularly, but I checked online and couldn't find out. Where is this knife made at, cause I have seen it online for like 30$ and under, and it looks like a hell of a knife, with yellow derlin handles and a 1095 thats incredible. Like I said I now really want to get one of these, Im just curious how they can afford to produce such a knife for so little.

I'm pretty sure Queen makes these, unless they're subcontracting them out for some reason, which I doubt. They're economy models, and can be produced because of the composition scales, which are easier to finish than bone, and because the knives overall aren't brought up to Queen's usual, high level of finish. Also, 1095 is less expensive all around than D2.

They should function and hold up just as well as Queen's other knives, they're just not quite as finely finished.

There is a distinction, I believe, between "Queen City" and "Queen City Classic Cutlery". "Queen City" appears to be an economy line, while "Queen City Classic Cutlery" has been, and appears to still be, a premium line.

This line of Queen City knives in 1095 steel are made for Smoky Mountain Knife Works by Queen Cutlery Co.

Very awesome, thank you. Ive diffidently moved this to the near top of my list of knives soon to get.

It's got half stops and smooth (but not weak by any means) springs. It has great fit and finish, it's a great edc hard use or giveaway, I highly recommend it!

Cool knife. I just ordered one for myself. The price was too good to turn down. Thanks for the heads up. How does the shade of yellow compare to Case's yellow? From the photos the Queen looks more orange-ish.

Just ordered one of the Queen City copperheads in 1095 steel and yeller handles.

Got my Yella Queen City Copperhead today. Nothing fancy, back springs a little weaker than I'd like, but a danged good looking knife for 24.95. Had to put it to the oil stone right away. Took a little while, but a shaving edge on both blades. It has taken the EDC place from my old CV Case, at least for the time being. The handles are yella alright, I prefer the more subdued Case or better yet the German Eye yellow. At least I shouldn't lose this one.
