XXXL NICK knives going for $500 and there are people standing in line????? Maybe I should sell all mine!!!!

Randucci,

I already got the one I wanted from you, I think it would prolly be best if you kept the rest till I need another.

I can't but help to say "Holy Cow!" when I see HR's going for $600...

Ummmm. .. No surprise at all here..

In a few years don't be astonished when you see the NICK go for $1000+ on the exchange..
Also Jerry claimed that this is one of the most collectible blades to ever come out of the Busse shop. It's just a matter of when the actual market value reflects Jerry's claim.. I don't know about you guys but every time a NICK pops up I'm going to try to snatch it up regardless of how many I am starting to accumulate.

Let's get some more NICK's on the exchange,, Some thin ones would be really nice too...

Don't really know why the Hell Razor is going for such a premium. Not worth over $375.00 as far as I'm concerned.
I guess it is a hot item for now and it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it.$600.00. whats next a CG BATAC for $600.00 lol

Oh yea $400-500 is not that high of a price for any NICK....

$600 used to be high for a SHBM.

I don't think we'll see prices on anything going down. Maybe fluctuate a little, but if it's not in production, and not slated to be on the block soon, prices will continue to rise as time goes by. Within the last year or so, Hellrazors have been going anywhere from $375 at the lows, $400-450 mids, and recently $600. Look what some are willing to pay for a SFNO.

Thats for sure....:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

it's a VERY strange market right now... SLOW overall, but list something rare and it'll sell.

I'm really surprised how flooded the EDC market is --- Meaners selling at 225!!! It wasn't very long ago that you couldn't buy a CG Meaner for 400.

Although I have heard that said many times about many things in my years on this planet; about the only thing I have seen that logic work for is the 49 sq mile patch of real estate called San Francisco. And even that one worries me.

So what you're saying is that I shouldn't sell my Frisco real estate. ;)

In all honesty I missed the Nicks when they were sold new and would pay $400-500 for one. I could see myself rocking out in the kitchen as opposed to just looking in awe at it. They are sweet and highly useful, as opposed to say a nuclear mojo.(not that I wouldnt buy one on those too!!!).:)

No I wouldn't say that, but I would say that you shouldn't buy any because the high prices are not supported by any stable economic facts.:(

Back off, buckos! ;)

I've tried to sell or trade that thing 3 times with no takers. Seems that this was the time.

It's 7" of .250 (or is it .275 - I dunno, it's GONE) awesome Satin INFI with wrong-side-of-the-blade Custom Shop logo.

What would you pay for ANY 7" Satin Custom Shop blade???? Certainly more than $500.

Forget what it was originally worth. If that was the case, then CGSNFO's would go for $300-400 on the XC. They don't. They go for double-and-more.

I'm glad to be rid of it. It never felt right. Too slow in my hand. I hope Dwaine uses it daily and loves every minute of it.

Only 120-something ever made. No more to be made. Great knife. Possibly the best satin finish I've seen on a Busse. Dammit. Now I'm missing it!

What you said, it wasn't that long ago you couldn't give away a XXXL.

'for the times they are a changin'

It's a cyclic thing, like real estate, or the warming / cooling of the planet.

Glad I dumped mine while they were still cheap

LOL. You don't wanna know what I paid for my matching set. At the time it was high but I thought it was dirt-cheap. I'd stab you before I let you take away my thin NICK, tho. Love that knife.
