I was just messing around with my Griptilian and happened to press the tip of my thumb directly on the edge (yes, I know I'm an idiot). When I stopped pressing, the skin on my thumb looked kind of weird. Upon closer examination, I found that the blade had actually cut through the skin just from me pressing, not sliding, on it. Luckily for me, the skin at the tip is a little thicker and it just cut that and didn't cause pain or draw blood. Scary thing is I didn't even feel this happen. Now sort of have a "cut" at the tip of my thumb. It looks and feels weird. I wonder how long it's gonna take for the skin to be smooth again.

Polysporin or neosporin and bandaid. Change at least once a day. This will close it up a lot faster and with less irritation.

Dumb. :( Really dumb. :grumpy: Welcome to the club! :p

Sunday I was cutting up some rags with my Cuda Maxx Bowie. I then pressed my thumb on the lock to unlock it while simultaneosly pressing my index finger on the spine of the blade to close it. As it turns out, I had the knife reversed. Because the handle and base of the blade, unlike most folders, are symmetrical, and because the handle has an open back it felt like I was holding it in the correct position. Well, I pressed my index finger straight into the blade and got a nice cut that bled for a while.

If it didnt bleed then neosporin isnt going to do anything. YOu best bet would be to use nail clips and trim it flush, superglue it, or let it sluff off on it's own account.

Once when I was sharpening a knife I put my finger on it lightly to see if it felt sharper. I thought "Hmm... that doesn't feel sharp at all." Then I looked at my finger and noticed the fingerprint was misaligned... so I spread the skin a little and blood poured everywhere. I am a genius.

Yep, my thumb, index and ring fingers have skin deep cuts all over it. Not much blood yet, not till I get a Sharpmaker probably
