Well As usual... I bought three blades on Thursday and they showed up this morning. Thanks so much, Yangdu! The Garud Ang Khola is both beautiful and functional, with a very nice distinguished point along with a modest blade sweep, and a beautiful fuller along the top portion of the blade. The 15 inch Sirupati is a monster in a little package, extremely lively and efficient. I'll be playing with this thing for weeks. The 14 inch Bahadur is an amazingly practical (and beautiful) survival knife with well contrasted horn handles and a mirror finish, shaving sharp blade. Ergonomics are perfect, as usual.

Yangdu has the backup Stargate for the SGC and Area 51;)
Seriously she ships (USPS priority) on the same day as the DOTD's I can count 3 business days and know it will be on my doorstep. I love dealing with people that are that consistent!
Until the re-release Bonecutters come out my Bahadur Knife is my GOTO blade. Spend some time sharpening the tip, I had to do a little honing till I got to harder steel, the sweet spot was perfect out of the box.

Yes, the design is simply amazing, combined with HI's execution. My point is very ideal-not so pronounced that it will easily break, yet still very useable. Slight forward weight and defined sweet spot for chopping, and the 9ish inch blade of mine is just perfect size. I wouldn't call it a large blade, but I'm sure it will perform like one. Again, ergonomics are perfect. All desire I ever had for a Kershaw Outcast or other similarly designed large blades has now gone out the window.
 
Same here for my Ang Khola, DOTD on Thursday, at the door on Saturday, means my CAK should show today (birthday been very, very good to me). So far highly pleased with every one of my HI kuk's (like 'em better than my CS heavy blade). Thanks to Auntie and all her crew.
