Well, I tried posting the "GO" buton beginning at 9:01pm last night, figuring that nobody would expect me so early. . . .

With 2 different computers runnng and trying to post from both at least 15 times on each and getting the "Oops link is broken" message I finally gave up at 9:54pm just 1 minute before the auto "Go" at 9:55 pm!!!!!

Man! I mean I was completely shut out!!!! I could sometimes refresh the page but could NEVER get the New Thread to go through.

It was driving me crazy because I could see other people posting!!!! . . . How did they do that????. . .:confused:

I was on the phone with Amy several times throughout the hour and she couldn't post either!!! :grumpy:

At one time we had 431 forums members on. . . I can't imagine how many were trying to get on but couldn't!!!

That's a lot of F5ing!!! :eek:

I'm pretty sure that Amy will be calling in sick on Monday!!!

Yeah, was that some serious hacking skills or what:eek: The King Fake Jerry had to hack into the system to post a sticky and lock it like that, right? Anyways, thanks for being so generous and a jolly good Santa this holiday season. Cheers,

I'm skeptically impressed, and am inclined to think it was one of the Busse crew goofing about, perhaps even the man himself. Otherwise, BF has some serious issues with permissions as being able to sticky a thread, as well as change post counts and join dates, is a pretty big hole...

so fess up, people, who did it?
 
Jerry: It was fun. And, for the record, you are both the real Jerry and apparently the Leader of the Fake Jerry coalition, too. Who woulda thunk it? ;)
 
thanks for the fun. I got in and kicked out many many many times. I was trying to use three different computers with three different sources of internet. When all weren't working I figured it would be a emergency go. Then I never saw any posts of go, I fired one off.
 
I managed to get it to load at 20min till... then as soon as it went dark I figured it would be a emergency-GO situation so I was watching the clock for that. I got my email sent at 9:55, but may have been too many seconds too late. it'll be interesting to see who wins.
