I just happened to take a look at their site, and there it is....
It is interesting looking, and I'm sure it's functional, but it just some seems....

ER has one of the slowest, most aggravating sites to navigate that I can think of. And after stumbling around, I still couldn't find this khukuri you referred to. Where is it?
 
5th one down under fixed blade. Pretty easy to find, but you have to scroll down.

I'm normally not one to advocate violence as a first solution, but their web designer should be taken out and overtly de-animated.

ER has some of the most uncomfortable looking handle designs on their knives that I've ever seen. My fingers hurt just looking at their knives :eek: But I've never held one, so I guess I can't say too much :D
 
That has to be the worst website design I've ever seen. Thatnks for posting the pic, I gave up.
 
I'd like to see Cliff get a hold of one of those & put it through the paces. Based on the website, it's hard for me personally not to think of ER as a little too hyped.

I can't help but wonder after seeing these if they'll be any good at real khukuri type of work. I hope Cliff does get ahold of one. I have a feeling he'll find a weakness at that juncture where the saber grind becomes what looks to me like a full height flat grind. That is just a hunch and I have no evidence to back that up with, so don't Carbonize my butt, okay?:D It's just a hunch.:p

Think I'll just stick with Himalayan Imports for khuks.:thumbup:


And an after-thought:
What's up with the "Y" camo coating?!
I wonder if those will show up in "Starship Troopers III" or "Alien vs Predator: The Re-Match"?:D :D :D

Someone tried to pry with them and they bent along the spine. I heard italian steel was soft, but that's rediculous:D

Seriously though, they absolutely have the most uncomfortable handles, folders as well as fixed blades. I picked them up at a knife show and they made the Sog Seal 2000 feel downright ergonomic.
 
I dont know much..well anything about Khukuri's but that thing looks mean...Definitely a sheeple forcefield :D
 
Yech! if a Cold Steel Khuk ever bred with a Tops Tracker, I've no doubt that would be the morphodite, mongoloid, bastardized,three fingered and retarded off spring they would produce.

I found them pretty comfortable, and a good grip. They are strange, though ...

They use an Austrian steel. :D

Anyway, it's not Italian steel that's soft, it's Italian nights with wine, women, and song!
