I just saw the Spyderco Bill Moran Drop Point, and that knife may change the way I feel about their ugly @$$ blades. What a worker that looks to be! Anyone have anything to say about 'em?

The others are still expensive IMO but this one's not too terribly priced. I'm amazed!

I have both of the Moran's, and the temperance. I really like all of them.

I've had a Moran drop point for a couple years, and it's a great user - when I can get it out of the kitchen (my wife is rather taken with it for cooking duties)... :D

I've got the fb01 moran, love it. carried it iwb/rear to right for about a year straight.

Just spent a week now using a lil temp for 90% of my cutting tasks, fixed blade is in my bag now.

I'd bought my father one of the Morans a few years ago, and it's the knife he swears by up here. Every time he takes it out he brags about how many herds of caribou, moose or bear he's cleaned and processed with it, without having to touch up the blade. :D

He loved his so much I almost bought one for myself, but got a BRKT Highland instead which fits my purposes a bit better.

I've seen 'em new for $45. For that kinda money, it's hard to go wrong with 'em.

The Bill Moran will be my next fixed blade. I'm not sure when I'll get the gumption to buy a fixed blade (I don't really need one), but when I do, it will be a Bill Moran. In my opinion it's the best fixed blade in its price range.
