i finally made a deal on a HT or HolyTearer. white gas was used to clean cosmoline off. the steel is ats-34 and the handles are the same blackish green micarta used on the early 90's busse's.
i heard most were cord wrapped in green and a few were handled like the one here. somewhere between 20 or 25 of these were made.

when disassembled the cutting blade will bolt up to a SH1 and makes one hell of a d-guard. assembled it is a great pocket carry knife or a good one for the ladies to carry in there purse.

i would hate to try to get one of these away from anybody:eek:

thanks FOS! i worked a year on getting this to my house. it was a hard buy from a hermit who didn't want to sell what i wanted. my nagging payed off.

i think a leather half moon type sheath might work well for a purse or hip pocket carry. my wife held it and there would be no way in hell i coud get it from her without some serious cuts:eek:

i can only get it to fit the sh1. could you imagine bolting TWO of these on the knife! one on each side of the handle:eek: :cool: :D
