[LEGION 12]

Just browsing online looking for a new air purifier had a tower model from Sharper Images for over 10 years finally died the other day seems there is a lot more choices nowadays than when I bought that one. I can really tell the difference not having one . What do you guys use in your homes have a medium size apartment and a cat like to get a unit that can do the whole place . Thanks in advance.

I just picked up a Honeywell Airgenius5 and it seems to work pretty well. Only time will tell though, as I have only had it for a few weeks. Another one that I came across as being pretty decent was the Winix line. They also seem to have great reviews.

Austin Air Health Mate Jr Air Cleaner. They are pricey but the filters last 5 years. We use these at work in some of the data closets, they seem to work well, made in the USA.

Yes, I have allergies, and have tried most of them, these are the best ones IMO.

Rabbit Air Minus A2 - consistently gets top marks. A bit spendy (about the same price as the Austin Air Jr. and covers a similar sq foot size.), but smaller and better looking and ours has been trouble free and very effective. Annual filter replacement is ~$40 if you run it 12ish hours a day everyday. Double that for 24 hour running (replacing every 6 months).

Nice, it should help within about a week you'll notice a decrease in dust around the house too. Make sure you don't put it too close to a wall or corner.

I hadn't heard of them until I saw the product in person, after about a year in use, I can say that it helps for our needs (keeping electronics and networking equipment cleaner).
