Picked this 110 up and am having a horrible time identifying a maker or handle material. I love the 110 and loved the look of this one. Any help is appreciated! If any additional pictures are needed, let me know!

The serial # on the bolster makes me think it was customized by Buck, Maybe a special order. I've seen a few different basket weave's buck has done over the years.

I disagree. I've never seen a basketweave from Buck Inc. Additionally, the serial number location is atypical for a factory knife. There are however, several eBay customizer/sellers that serial number exactly like this. Search "Buck 110 Basketweave" on eBay and you will see a number of similar knives.

I agree with DeSotoSky. These were done in a few variations by someone other than Buck. I have one in black wood colors and it has a large light yellow sticker 110 box that says "Basketweave".
Aftermarket customization for sure.

there was a seller on the by called digital freaks that did many of the same type...perhaps one of theirs?

DebX36 - What serial number is yours? Mine is 026. Yours looks like it is either 026 as well or 025. I can't quite make it out for sure.

I was under the impression places like deadwood ordered these from Buck in this fashion, I did not think knife shops took the time to rehandle and serialize 400 knives in this fashion, I was not implying that buck sold there, but just made these, I do not collect them and do not have any interest in them, but everything I've learned about Buck from most of the people saying they didagree is that anyone can order a run of 400 knives and order them the way they like from Buck, and most of these are serialized in the Bolster, looking back at my wording, I guess it does sound like I was saying this was a one off done by buck, but that is not what I am saying at all, answer my question, was this run of 400 custom basket weave handle knives bought as 110's then customized, or order in this fashion from Buck. Desoto, are you saying there are not order from Buck like this?

Gedlicks, look at the buck # on your basket weave box, 110GYSSP59-B, does that look like a normal buck110 box description, or one that was a special order?

Mike - The number on the box is for a charcoal diamondwood buck 110 with nickel silver bolsters. See the below link, The knife came from Buck and was customized in the aftermarket.

The seller either does his own customization or has them done by someone else. Most likely he does not have 400 of these sitting on his shelf but instead leaves himself open to sell up to 400
if they sell that many. I have never seen a large serial number on these knives. Almost always below 100

Here is what the seller of these knives says about them being authentic.

Is this knife authentic?
Yes! Our knives are authentic. We do sell some customized items, but these are custom-made by well known artists who use exotic materials to make highly collectable pieces. We do not sell counterfeit products. We encourage you to contact the manufacturer of the item to verify the authenticity if you ever have any questions

Roger, Haebbie and James got it right... Buck only made the 110s and didn't do the Custom handles...

That's what I was told from someone from Buck a few years ago...

:)
