I sent in a Small Regular Sebenza that I got off another forum at the end of September for the Spa Treatment, reblast on the handles, and new thumb lug. I got it back yesterday and am absolutely blown away. It looks like a brand new Sebenza. It also had an incredibly sticky lock (as in it too WAY too much pressure to get it to disengage) and that problem is now gone and unlocking smoothly. Based on these great results, I'd have no problem buying beat up user for a great price and then getting it refinished at CRK.

Here some pictures...

Looks good. I was hoping to get mine back yesterday but the UPS man hasn't delivered yet. Hopefully my small classic micarta comes today. It was pretty scratched up and I can't wait to see it.

That looks great. Did you also get the perforated washers?

I didn't request them, but I haven't taken it apart to check. The washers look to be a bit "bronzer" (that's a word, right?) just looking at the knife as it stands now, so maybe they did get replaced.

Happy to help. I was shocked when I opened the package. I expected it to look better but didn't fully expect it to look brand new.

Thanks for sharing!

Hehe, I could believe that as I wouldn't have but the pics tell, looks spankin' new. I can see CRK really do a great refinishing.

Congrats on the knife, enjoy in the best

It looks too good! Now you have to worry about putting the first scratch on it. :D

They did indeed do a good job fixing that one up. I do think it looked better before it was refubished, but now you can have the fun of putting all your own scratches and dings on it. :D:thumbup:

Mine came today. :) The small classic micarta looks brand spankin new. I had a plain classic in for repair and that was also taken care of.
Wish I'd taken before pics. Never even thought about it.
