We have about 20 to 30 up every afternoon. Now that the field is clear all the yearling's are learning how to run and corner at full speed. It's like watching a bunch of little kids bucking, running and jumping around on the first day of summer vacation.

What a hoot!:thumbup::)

Give me a home where the buffalo roam and you will have a messy living room.

We got antelope. There's even one on our town seal.

We even have live antelope. There are herds of them on private land on Hwy 89 and on the road to the Ruger factory which is near the Antelope Golf Course.

Yeah, we have Buddhists too. :D

We don't have any buffalo. They all moved to Wyoming.

Thanks. We love 'em!

Can't quite feed them by hand, but they will follow me as close as about 30 feet (long as I don't look at them) as I put out the food. I've found that these things really do seem to have a sixth sense... you can look at their feet while they eat, but if you look at their heads, they'll alert and raise their heads. I always though it was an old wives tale (don't look at a deer's head or they'll spook) but I've found it to be pretty true. This pic was taken from my back deck and their pretty calm unless you start staring at them... kind of amazing.

I've been trying to determine how many of these are gonna' pop out little ones in a month or so. Hard to tell this time of year which one's are pregnant though.

That's a great picture... and some great looking country. Always glad to see the wildlife flourishing!

Thanks for the pic (now we just need someone from Wyoming to show us those buffalo you're missing:D).

Looks like you've got almost as many deer as New Jersey. (We meet up with them on the highways!)

No need to go to Maine... We have plenty-O-moose right her in NH. Hundreds even!

You got that right. The first and last time (Haven't been back because Tim put me on the, No Rednecks Flying Across The NH Borders List. :D) we were in your great state, saw a Moose. It walked out slowly onto the road and of course being a Mountain Man I pulled the car to the side of the road and got out.

Yes I know they're Dangerous, but I never wrestled a wild Moose before. :D

BTW You have some of the best Drinking water in the North East, up there. :thumbup:

Great Deer Picture Tim.:cool:

Deer: Our trip was about 10 years ago and I found it Funny that after leaving PA I hardly saw any Deer on the whole trip and as soon as we crossed the PA line traveling home, a Deer jumped out in front of our Car. :D

It looks like you have More Deer than we have now. With Deer season from Oct to Jan, it's really thinned our herd here.
