Finally bought a tglb and decided to make a trip to Tandy's and make my own sheath. Intended to make something basic but tough and usable. Then the creative juices started flowing.... What do you guys think?

Looks good mate.... I do some of my own Kydex but leather does have a personality all its own..!!

Looks great to me, I wish I could do any sort of fine work with my hands (but I can't, not even with the best of intentions, it all just ends up so horrible). My only question is, why the double straps, wouldn't it get annoying to undo and redo both all the time?

Didn't really have a good reason for the double straps other than maybe a little better security. Though when un-doing it my first and ring finger catch both at the same time. Doesn't seem to be a problem for me but I also haven't taken it out in the woods yet. The Sam Brown fasteners prob make it a smoother thing than snaps.

I like whatcha done there!

Any job worth doing is worth doing with a little style, and I like the do dad on the front. :)

Very nice! I like all the flare. Now that TGLB needs burl handles and the finish stripped off.

I love it! Can you make anymore like this? I'd totally be willing to by one. I actually have a TGLB (my very first Busse) on the way. It's coming with the Spec Ops Sheath but I really love the look of leather sheaths on any Busse knife. It just gives them more elegance and character than kydex or nylon.

Being that I do work full time and have family and all that, I kinda just do stuff like this as time permits.

FIrst of all let me welcome you Pubstout. Welcome:thumbup:

and 2nd I regrettably have to inform you that you can not sale goods here without the proper membership. Which in this case that would be an orange service member/craftsmans membership.

Even if you have one you can not sale or solicit in a discussion forum anywhere on this site.

Also, you guys putting him in this position shouldn't have cause I have the feeling with 10 post, and a short timer that I don't think he was aware, or he wouldn't have done so so openly. After looking more closely ...you are all relatively new so FYI this is not allowed.

So, if you all don't mind editing your post to solicit to our new friend, and if he would be so kind to do the same and all of you understand that I don't write the rules. However, I am obliged to enforce them.

THank you all for your understanding and let this serve as a warning to all.

Please enjoy the rest of your Memorial Day.
