Alas, the corner of the jigged bone handle on my Robeson stockman is cracked, still in place with no perceptible movement (yet), but cracked clean through. Could anyone suggest a proven home "fix" I could apply before the day comes when I fetch the knife only to discover a missing piece of handle? By the by, this is a user, but I would like to keep it pretty.

Thnx. Rob.

Hi,

Heavy grade epoxy is what I've used before, and in a pinch, Loc-tite:). Some older knife repairmen like Brownell's Acrli-glass for big breaks:).

HTH:D:).

You can use super glue to repair small cracks, duro two ton waterproof epoxy works well also. You'll want to clamp the handle together after applying the glue. Use something to "cusion" the clamped areas, such as leather, fabric, carboard, ect. (to avoid making more cracks, ect.).

hope this helps!:)
