Homebrewing equipment

I am think of starting to homebrew and looking for info.

Is it better to start with a kit or buy the equipment piecemeal?

I live in an apartment, so I a don't have a ton of extra room. Will that be a problem?

There used to be a place out on Westport road that sold supplies. Don't know if they're still in business or not. They had both kits and individual parts as well as different ingredients. I did some of my own brewing a while back and enjoyed it. The only problem was my wife didn't care for the smell when I was cooking!

Give it a shot. It's worth trying.
