Here is my first attempt at a leather sheath. I want to make a leather sheath for my 16/Bushcrafter, but I decided to start a little more modestly and make a pocket sheath for my 24. I usually wear carpenter jeans, and this sheath was made to fit in the right hand thigh pocket. Ain't perfect, but it certainly fits my needs. Sorry I didn't get any WIP pics, but there are plenty of tutorials you can find with people who actually know what they are doing, haha. It's a very simple sheath, I would have kept the stock sheath but I find it dulls my 24 and 11 when I use them. As with most things I do, this seems a bit overbuilt, but let's see how it wears.

The welt is the middle layer, I made a cutout of the blade shape for the whole middle layer.

Fits nicely in the side pocket.

Looks great to me. The only thing I might have changed would be to round off the bottom corners so it slides into the pocket easier. But that's really just picking nits. Nice work.

Way better than my first sheath :) and overbuilt is a good thing
