Homemade Mini-Rukus Scales

after seeing the price tags on the after market scales on the net i decided to try and make my own out of walnut. they turned out ok i guess but i just could not see paying $100 or more for a set. my thought was you could buy aother nice knife for that amount of money. i attached some pics and i know you can probably pic my scales apart but woodwork is not my forte. i just thought i would maybe save you some $.
