Hi,

Here is a quick one day project I did this saturday. I made the pattern and cutted the fabric in the morning and spent the evening sewing. This is a combo sheath for my Swisstool, ARC LSH-P and 2 CR123 batteries.

It is made of black PU coated Cordura 1000D, thick elastic for the sides, a Duraflex D-RING and OD green paracord. Stitches are mostly bartacks -> quite heavy duty work ;)

Hope you'll find it inspiring. It is intended to be worn horiz. on the belt.

Nicely done! - I've been actually trying for some time now to find a supplier of good cordura to do the same thing. Where did you get yours in Belgium?
Thanks,
Ted

Hey Ted, nice to hear from you again ;)

I buy most of my "high tech" fabrics from www.shelby.fi
Prices are very good and Zach, the owner, is very friendly. You won't go wrong with him.

I'm aware of two more stores like that in Europe :

http://www.pointnorth.co.uk/shop.asp
http://www.pennineoutdoor.co.uk/

More different items, buy sometime more pricey. Also, no Schoeller dryskin or Polartec Powershield from them.

Hope this helps !

Nice work man!

I've been looking to make a cell phone pouch kinda like that (the ones from the store are too flimsy and the nice one from Blackhawk is a little too big).

Excellent travail Fabrice!

I've been thinking of doing something similar myself, but lack the tools and sewing skills to work with Cordura.

Nicely done. I've been trying to decide on something similar myself since there doesn't seem to be anything commercially available that fits my needs.

Thanks guys ! ;)

You don't need special tools for Cordura, just a good sewing machine. I bet that someone in your familly has one. It worth a try, believe me.

Next time I do one, I'll shot some pics to make a small tutorial.

A+ !
