The first sheath i ever made was a real stinker. Cut with jigsaw (left some marks), heat gun and made her too hot, and folded her using a towel, which left a bit of a mark as the sheath was too hot- and those are just some of the mistakes i would admit... It was for HO gamewarden. Stinker it may have been, i was hooked.

This morning i picked up a really nice Craftsman Band saw to do my cuts, and a few days back got a blue camping mat (to be sandwiched between plywood).

Sheath two, also for my HunterOrange Warden came out pretty nice imo.

I am still working on the design of the clip, using the kydex and not a teklock. My goal is to get it perfected for IWB setup. But for now, OWB is the order of the day...

The third sheath i made is for my DumpsterMutt. I am pretty happy with it.

My short term goal is to perfect the kydex retention for an IWB sheath for the DMutt, and then to sheath my AK and Ruck, then Rathets-

It looks like you are dead close on the IWB thing, SWEET.

Is that kydex smooth on the inside or did you do that to it yourself?

Keep up the good work.

They look great IB! I predict one of my blue camping matts may have an untimely death in the near future... ;)
