Homemade repair jobs

A recent thread got me thinking about when I have a cracked cover, I replace it and move along. Well it got me to thinking about what I have seen in the past, and I must admit I have seen some funky repair jobs. I thought it might be a neat thread to post some pictures of some repairs (homemade) to knives. Here is one that I had to have because I really liked the orange bone. It is obvious that it was well loved, and someone took the time to repair it to the best of their ability. I do not carry it because I am not sure if it is lead or what, so it just sits there waiting for something to happen.

If you have any knives that would fit in, please feel free to share some pictures.

It's lead, but it won't hurt you. Don't stick it in your mouth, and wash your hands before you eat. Lead isn't absorbed through the skin.

Thanks for the advise. I think I may just replace both covers when I find a little more time.
