Homemade straight 12" drawknife done in a few hours

I just finished making this. I needed one for a project so I threw one together from scratch.
Total cost was $1. Will mostly be used for peeling logs.

Beveled it with files by hand

Not the best quality but it does the job and cost me basically nothing.

Thanks guys. It's not my best work lol! But it'll do for the task at hand.
Peg- I'm not sure what it was before. I got it at an antique shop for a dollar, the guy didn't know what it was either. It was basically flat bar stock with a rounded point at the end. Possibly a makeshift pry bar but who knows.
