Thanks guys. It's no work of art, but it should do :)
That Necker cut through the thick tough leather really well

Next week, a local hardware store will do sale, so I'm gonna get the compounds at a discount  I think they also have white and pink one, gotta find out what that is...

:thumbup:How much??
DO you ship inernationally ?:D

Well, I have some leather left... :D LOL

I can get a .320" Horton hair shaving sharp with just black compound. Green is finer for when you want a more polished crazy sharp edge, or have power machinery.

^^who do you get your compound from?

I use white rouge I got from Jantz, it works ok on the 'zoo, but I'd like to try some other things

K, black & green it is  There're enough sides on the strop for them :D The sale starts on Thursday :)

Nice, this is a little project I have been wanting to do myself at some point.

OK. So in the Czech Republic, the coarse compound is white. The black is, on the contrary, very fine, even finer than the green. Oh, and there are two green compounds, too - the dark green is a little coarse and the light green is a little finer, but not as fine as the black. Duh.

I just took white and dark green. I will report how it works.
And, thanks for the info, Truk :)

Uh ya. I only use black and green myself. The green I use is finer than black. Thats all I know about it. Brian is the expert,,,
