Homing Pigeons

Speaking of those feathered creatures, in those Robin Hood days, messages were sent by this so-called Pigeon Express.

I wonder if homing pigeons are still being used by certain quarters to convey messages.

I understand homing pigeons are still used in bird races in some countries. I wonder if the practice still exists.

Still, some ancient postal practices are quite interesting.

Anybody knows more about this homing pigeon business?

Go visit the North of England, there are still loads of clubs and Pigeons fanciers...I have a mate who comunicates with his brother-in-law via pigeons to meet down the pub, cool..............
